Pass Surety Guarantee Terms

Last Updated: 27 November 2025

The Pass Surety Guarantee (“Guarantee”) is a premium feature offered by the PMP Xcelerator Masterclass through www.pmpxl.com, owned and operated by American Institute of Management Certifications, LLC (AIMC USA). By enrolling in the Pass Surety package, you agree to the terms outlined below. These Terms apply in addition to the general Terms & Conditions, Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy.

1. Purpose of the Guarantee

The Pass Surety Guarantee provides eligible participants with coverage for their official PMP exam retake fee if they do not pass the exam on their first attempt, provided they meet all conditions of the Guarantee.

2. Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the Pass Surety Guarantee, participants must: (a) Purchase and enroll in the Pass Surety package of the PMP Xcelerator Masterclass; (b) Complete all required course modules, assignments, and activities as specified in the program; (c) Attend or complete all mandatory components, including live sessions (if applicable); (d) Score 80% or above on at least one full-length simulated PMP mock exam provided by PMPXL, consisting of 180 questions completed within the 4-hour exam window; (e) Attempt the official PMP examination within one year of completing the training program; (f) Provide accurate, verifiable information during registration and throughout the program.

3. Mock Exam Requirement

Participants must achieve a qualifying score of 80% or higher on a full-length PMP mock exam administered by PMPXL. If the participant does not achieve this score on the first attempt, they must retake additional mock exams until achieving the required 80%. Only after achieving the qualifying score will participants be considered “Exam Ready” and eligible for the Guarantee.

4. Exam Retake Coverage

If a participant meets all eligibility criteria and still does not pass the official PMP exam on the first attempt, AIMC USA will reimburse the exam retake fee as published by PMI at the time of the retake. Reimbursement applies only to the retake fee, not the initial exam fee, membership fees, rescheduling fees, or any other charges.

5. Verification Requirements

To process a Pass Surety claim, participants must submit the following: (a) Official exam result report from PMI displaying a “Fail” outcome; (b) Proof of payment for the PMP retake fee; (c) Confirmation of the date the participant attempted the initial exam; (d) Confirmation that the examination was attempted within the one-year validity window. AIMC USA reserves the right to verify all documents directly with PMI.

6. Non-Eligible Cases

The Pass Surety Guarantee does not apply under the following circumstances: (a) Participant fails to achieve the required 80% score on a PMPXL mock exam before taking the actual exam; (b) Participant takes the official PMP exam without meeting all training, attendance, or completion requirements; (c) Exam results are invalidated by PMI due to misconduct or policy violations; (d) Participant fails to take the official exam within the one-year validity period; (e) Participant provides incomplete, inaccurate, or unverifiable documentation; (f) Participant withdraws from the Program or loses access due to violation of Terms & Conditions; (g) Examinations cancelled, rescheduled, or affected by PMI policy decisions outside AIMC USA’s control.

7. Claim Submission Timeline

Participants must submit a Pass Surety claim within 30 days of receiving the official exam failure notification. Claims submitted after 30 days may be denied.

8. Processing of Reimbursements

Once approved, reimbursement will be issued via the original payment method or an agreed alternative. Processing may take 5–10 business days. AIMC USA is not responsible for delays caused by banks, card issuers, or third-party processors. Only one retake reimbursement is provided per participant.

9. Limitations of Liability

The Pass Surety Guarantee is limited strictly to reimbursement of the PMP exam retake fee. AIMC USA is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential costs, including travel, scheduling fees, missed work, or additional study materials.

10. Guarantee Validity Period

The Guarantee is valid for one year from the participant’s date of training completion. Participants must complete all eligibility requirements and attempt the official exam within this one-year window.

11. Changes to the Guarantee Terms

AIMC USA reserves the right to update or modify the Pass Surety Guarantee Terms at any time. The “Last Updated” date reflects the effective version. Continued participation in the Program constitutes acceptance of any updates.
